You can use YouTube to get traffic to your website. The way you do this is by creating a good video. You can put your URL in the video, and you can link to your site in the video’s description.
The good thing about making a YouTube video is that you are not expected to make it with professional equipment or with professional style. Something you shoot with a home camera and regular people is fine. You do not need an expensive studio, professional actors, and a whole film crew. If you do not have a home camcorder, see if you can borrow one from a friend or someone else you know.
I think with YouTube, funny is almost always the way to go. You can get somewhere with serious videos, but funny is the easiest to make popular on YouTube.
I suggest making a funny video about your niche and uploading it to YouTube. Try to make the video something that will appeal to lots of people, so that it will go viral.
What do you think? Do you have any tips for making YouTube videos?

Agreed. YouTube is a great resource for on-line marketers, but it really helps when you have something interesting to film. I’m currently working a project for an area comedian / magician, and the videos he’s given me make for PERFECT YouTube submissions…

I tried promoting on YouTube but they kicked me off for spamming them. I think it was because I opened a few new accounts to rate my video.

I think making a viral video takes a lot of luck. I see great videos that get 200 views and terrible ones that get 2 million.
